Chicken Tortellini Salad with Grapes and Pineapple

I adapted this recipe from the Krazy Coupon Lady - you can find her version here. This recipe is really tasty and is nice enough that you can entertain with it. If you wait to make it until you get a great deal on fresh pasta (which is normally really expensive) it can be quite affordable. You can find my recipe here.

Tortellini - On sale at Albertson's for $3.99, doubled $1.00 coupon - total $1.99 each, used 2 - total - $3.98

Chicken - $1.49 / lb at Smith's, used 2 breasts - total - $1.50

Pineapple - On sale at Albertson's for $1.00, doubled $.55 / 2 coupon - total - $.45

Mayonnaise - On Price cut at Target for $1.99, used $1.00 coupon and $1.00 target coupon - total - Free

Celery - $.33 / bunch at Walmart, used 1 - total - $.03

Green Onions - $.50 at Walmart, used 3 - total - $.15

Grapes - $.88 / lb at Albertson's, used about 1/2 lb - total - $.44

Sage, thyme, and garlic powder - approximate total - $.25

1 Tbs. olive oil - approximate total - $.10

Salt and pepper - approximate total - $.05


Grand Total - $6.95 for 4 servings, $1.74 for each serving
