Ham with Pepperjack and Appleslaw Sandwich

This recipe is drastically adapted from an Emeril Lagasse recipe. I love his recipes but, my goodness, they require 101 ingredients and are not the simplest things to make. Sara Lee Wheat Hamburger Buns - $3.22 for 8 - $.40 each (they're pricey buns, but they're whole grain, so it's worth the extra cost for me) - total $1.60

Oscar Mayer Deli Sliced Ham- on Price Cut at Target for $2.99 each, used $.75 printable coupon, and $1 / 2 Target Coupon - total $1.74

Pepper jack cheese - $2.09 for 8 oz bag at Target, used $1.00 printable coupon and $1/2 Target coupon - total $.59 for 8 oz, used 1/2 - total $.30

Green Onions - $.50 at Walmart, used 1 - total $.05

Apple - $.30 at Buy Low

Cole Slaw Mix - $.99 at Walmart, used 1/4 - total $.25

Dijon Mustard - $1.75 at Alberton's, doubled $1.00 coupon - total - Free

Vinegar, Sugar, Salt & Pepper, Honey - approximately $.25


Grand Total - $4.49 for 4 servings, $1,12 for each serving
