Trifles are great because you can take simple ingredients like pudding and cookies and dress them up for a nice occasion. It is a great way to make dessert on a dime for a lot of people. I needed to bring dessert to a big family dinner and this is what I decided to make. Chocolate Pudding - On sale at Albertson's $.70 / box, doubled $1 / 3 coupon - total $.04
Vanilla Pudding - On sale at Albertson's $.70 / box, doubled $1 / 3 coupon - total $.04
Milk - $1.47 / gallon at Walmart, used 6 cups - total $.55
Chocolate Chip Coconut Keebler cookies - on sale at Albertson's for $1.99
Coconut - $2.99 / bag at Smith's, used 1/2 - total - $1.50 (would've been cheaper at Walmart, but I forgot to buy it there)
Mini Chocolate Chips - 2.18 / bag at Walmart, used 1/3 cup - total - $.73
Cool Whip - on sale at Smith's for $1, used $1/2 coupon - total $.50
Grand Total - $5.35 for 15 servings, $.36 for each serving
